How do we grade a shirt’s condition?

We check every shirt by hand and write down what we find. Any flaws (stains, pulls, fading) are named in the description. A 10/10 is only for deadstock, brand new and never worn. Everything else gets a 1-10 grade, judged against its age.

The Manchester United 2011-13 Away Shirt features a bright royal blue body broken by subtle darker hoops across the chest and waist, a plain black crew neck collar and black cuffs, with rubberised strips over the shoulders in the Nike template of the period.

The embroidered club crest sits over the heart with the white Nike swoosh opposite and the AON sponsor across the chest, and the lightweight Dri-Fit fabric keeps the shirt trim through the body. It served as the change shirt across two seasons and was worn again through the title winning campaign of 2012-13.

On the back, Van Persie is printed above the number 20 in original style printing, representing the Dutch striker in the season his goals carried the side to the league title, a clinical left footed finisher remembered for his volleys and for the movement that kept defenders guessing inside the box.
