FAQ
Everything we get asked most often, in one place. If your question is not here, send us a message and we will answer it personally.
Authenticity and what you are buying
Are the shirts 100% authentic?
Yes. We check the fabric, stitching, labels, prints and the smaller design details on every shirt before it goes up. We do not sell replicas. What you get is the original shirt from the year it says on the page.
Are these originals or modern retro reproductions?
Originals. Every shirt is from the season printed on its own label, not a modern remake of an old design. We do not stock fan versions or reissues presented as originals.
Are the product photos showing the exact shirt I will receive?
Yes. All photos show the exact shirt you will receive. We never use stock images. Every item is unique, so each shirt is photographed individually to match the real item as accurately as possible.
Can I order the same shirt twice, or in another size?
No. Every listing is one physical shirt in one size. When it sells, it is gone. There is no restock and no reprint, which is why a shirt you have your eye on is worth acting on.
Condition and sizing
How do you grade a shirt's condition?
We check every shirt by hand and write down what we find. Any flaws (stains, pulls, fading) are named in the description. A 10/10 is only for deadstock, brand new and never worn. Everything else gets a 1-10 grade, judged against its age.
What do the condition grades mean?
Roughly: 10 is as new, sometimes still tagged. 9 to 9.5 is excellent with only very light signs of age. 8 to 8.5 is good, with visible but minor wear such as slight fading. 7 and below is clearly worn, and the specific faults are always named in the notes on the product page.
How do I know which size to pick?
Not by the letter on the tag. Size labels from the 1980s and 1990s bear little relation to modern sizing, and they differ per brand within the same decade. That is why every product page lists the actual measurements taken with the shirt laid flat: pit to pit across the chest and top to bottom down the back. Compare those numbers against a shirt you already own. Our measurements guide explains exactly how we measure.
How should I wash my shirt?
To keep your shirt in the best condition, especially with a nameset on the back, wash it with care. A hand wash is preferred or use a cool wash. Always wash inside out and do not tumble dry, do not bleach, and do not use fabric softener. Let it air dry and if needed use a cool iron.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free to the Netherlands and Belgium on orders from EUR 100, and free worldwide on orders from EUR 150. Below those thresholds it starts at EUR 4.25 within the Netherlands, EUR 10.95 within Europe and EUR 13.95 for the rest of the world, depending on weight. The exact cost is shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
We ship from the Netherlands with PostNL and dispatch within 48 hours on working days, always with track and trace. Delivery normally takes 1 to 2 working days within the Netherlands, 2 to 5 within Europe and 6 to 13 for the rest of the world. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Do I pay customs or import duties?
Inside the EU there are no additional duties. Outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes are set by your own country and are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns and payment
Can I return a shirt?
Yes. Customers in the EU and EEA have a 14 day right of withdrawal from the day the order is received, and a further 14 days to send the shirt back. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and the shirt has to come back in the same condition it was sent in. See our right of withdrawal page and our refund policy.
What if the shirt does not fit?
The 14 day right of withdrawal covers that too. Because every shirt is a one-of-one item we cannot exchange it for another size, so the measurements on the product page are the thing to check before you order.
Which payment methods can I use?
iDEAL, Bancontact, Wero, BLIK, MobilePay, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and card payments with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.
New stock, requests and selling to us
How often do new shirts come in?
New stock arrives in drops of roughly 50 shirts at a time rather than continuously. Newsletter subscribers get two hour early access to every drop, which matters when every shirt exists only once.
Can you help me search for a specific shirt?
Yes. If you are looking for a shirt that is sold out or a specific model, you can send us the details through our contact page. We can help you search within our network. The more information you share, the easier it is for us to help you find it.
Do you buy shirts from customers?
Yes. We buy shirts from customers if the shirts meet our standards for authenticity, condition, and rarity. Please contact us through our sell your shirts page and include your asking price. We will reply to your message, and you can then send photos and extra details so we can review the shirt properly.
