LIVERPOOL SHIRTS

Liverpool's collection is anchored by Steven Gerrard's #8, worn across two seasons either side of the 2005 Champions League final, alongside full kits going back to the club's European Cup years in the early 1980s. Michael Owen, Fernando Torres and Steve McManaman cover the years either side of Gerrard's captaincy.

Gerrard, Owen and Torres in Adidas red

Steven Gerrard's #8 home shirt from 2008-10 appears in two sizes, and his earlier #17 from Reebok's 2002-04 kit sits alongside Michael Owen's #10 from the same seasons and Steve McManaman's #7 from 1997-99. Fernando Torres's #9 arrives later in the same 2008-10 Adidas kit as Gerrard's, from his first two full seasons at Anfield, also appearing in two sizes, plus an unnumbered version of the same home shirt in a third size.

Full kits from the European Cup years

Two complete Umbro kits from 1979-82 and 1981-84 cover the run of European Cup wins either side of 1981, alongside a further 1982-85 home kit and an 1985-86 away kit from Adidas. A 1987-88 Adidas sweater and a 1992-93 centenary shirt in two versions mark the years just after, the kind of pieces collected more widely under 1980s football shirts.

Warrior's short spell as kit supplier

Three shirts from 2012-13 to 2014-15 come from Warrior's brief run as Liverpool's kit maker, before Adidas returned to the club, alongside a 2009-10 training shirt from the same Adidas era as Gerrard and Torres. These carry Warrior's heavier collar and simplified crest, quite different from the busier Adidas and Umbro templates either side of it. Together with the earlier decades above, the collection covers Liverpool among the English clubs from Umbro, Adidas, Reebok and Warrior across nearly forty years, in sizes running from S up to L depending on the shirt.
