Van Persie before Arsenal

Three different Van Persie shirts sit in the collection from 2002-03 alone: a home jersey and two versions of the third kit, worn the season before he left for Arsenal. Van Hooijdonk's own third shirt from that same campaign puts two of the club's biggest forwards from that era side by side. Both have pages of their own, at Robin van Persie and Pierre van Hooijdonk.

Kappa's decade

Everything from 2000-01 through 2008-09 here is Kappa, including Roy Makaay's 2008-09 away shirt, Jon Dahl Tomasson's 2000-01 home shirt and a goalkeeper jersey worn by Edwin Zoetebier. That run puts the 2000s well ahead of any other decade in this collection, and the Kappa collection shows the same design language turning up at other clubs that wore the brand at the same time.

Puma takes over

By 2010-11 Feyenoord had switched to Puma, visible in Georginio Wijnaldum's home shirt from that season and Graziano Pellè's shirts from 2012-13 and 2013-14. Pellè's own page covers his time at other clubs too. Set a Puma shirt next to a Kappa one from a decade earlier and the shift in fit is immediate.

Training kit and full kits

Alongside match jerseys there's a run of training shirts from 2003-04 and a couple of full kits with shorts included, from 2000-01 and 2002-03.
