Euro 2000, co-host with the Netherlands
The 2000-02 Nike away shirt is from the tournament Belgium co-hosted with the Netherlands, going out in the group stage on home soil while the Dutch went further. It is the oldest piece in this collection by well over a decade, from a period followed by a lean stretch in which Belgium missed several major tournaments outright.
Burrda's golden generation, then Adidas
Two 2014-15 shirts, both carrying Hazard's number 10, were made by Burrda, the brand that supplied Belgium through the rise of the generation that reached the 2014 World Cup quarterfinal in Brazil, losing narrowly to Argentina. Burrda's contract ran until Adidas took over, and the 2016-17 away shirt here, numbered 17 for Carrasco, is from that changeover, worn by a winger who broke into the side as the same generation kept building toward the peak it reached a few years later.
