Refund policy

At Nostalgic Football Shirts, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy is designed in accordance with Dutch and EU consumer law and aims to be clear, fair, and transparent.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EER Customers)

1.1 As a consumer within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

1.2 After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.

1.3 Upon withdrawal, we will refund the full purchase price including the standard shipping costs you paid for delivery to you. Any additional costs for express or premium delivery options will not be refunded.

1.4 The costs of returning the product are your responsibility, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

2. Right of Withdrawal (Non-EU/EER Customers)

2.1 For orders delivered outside the EU/EEA, we will refund the purchase price of the returned product(s).

2.2 Original shipping costs for delivery to non-EU/EEA countries are not refundable.

2.3 Return shipping costs and any applicable import duties or customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

3.1 Since our shirts are authentic vintage items, signs of previous use may already be present. However, when returning a product, it must be sent back in the same condition as received. Any additional damage, wear, or alterations caused after delivery – including damage from washing, drying, or ironing – makes the item ineligible for return or refund. Such damage is considered improper use and not a product defect.

4. Conditions for Returns

4.1 Since our products are authentic vintage shirts, natural signs of previous use may already be present. Returned products must be sent back in the same condition as received, without any additional damage, wear, or alterations.

4.2 Any damage caused after delivery – including damage from washing, drying, or ironing – does not qualify as a product defect and makes the item ineligible for return or refund. To preserve the quality of your shirt, we strongly recommend following the provided care instructions, with hand wash as the preferred method.

4.3 If a returned product does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return. In such cases, the item will be sent back to you, and the shipping costs for resending will be charged to you.

5. Return Procedure

5.1 Notify us of your wish to withdraw within 14 days of receiving your order by sending an email to info@nostalgicfootballshirts.com .

5.2 You will receive return instructions, including the correct return address:

5.3 Ship the product back within 14 days of your withdrawal notification.

5.4 Please keep proof of postage (track & trace) until your return has been fully processed.

6. Refund

6.1 Refunds will be processed within 1–4 business days after we have received and inspected the returned product.

6.2 We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or you provide proof of return shipment, whichever comes first.

6.3 Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.

7. Warranty & Complaints

7.1 In addition to our return policy, statutory warranty applies. This means that a product must meet what you as a consumer can reasonably expect from it. If this is not the case, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or (partial) refund, free of charge.

8. Right of Withdrawal — How to Submit a Request

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can:

Use the withdrawal button available in your order confirmation email or on our store, which will guide you through a two-step confirmation process. You will receive an automatic confirmation email upon submission.
Alternatively, contact us directly at info@nostalgicfootballshirts.com with your full name and order number. We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal request within 24 hours.
You may also (but are not required to) use the standard EU Withdrawal Form. You can request this form by contacting us at info@nostalgicfootballshirts.com.
