Designed by Adidas, the shirt features a deep royal blue base with red and white accents across the chest and sleeves, reflecting the traditional colours of Les Bleus. The embroidered French Football Federation crest with the gold star celebrates France’s 1998 World Cup victory, which the team carried into the next dominant phase of their history. This shirt is printed with Henry number 12 on the back. During this period Thierry Henry emerged as one of the most feared forwards in world football, combining explosive pace with clinical finishing. France entered UEFA Euro 2000 as world champions and went on to win the tournament, defeating Italy 2–1 in the final thanks to a golden goal from David Trezeguet.
