The Arsenal 2005–06 Home Shirt stands out with its deep burgundy design created to commemorate the club’s final season at Highbury. Departing from Arsenal’s traditional red and white colours, Nike introduced this special edition shirt inspired by the club’s historic kits from the early 20th century.
The shirt features a clean polo collar, gold detailing and the Highbury crest embroidered centrally on the chest above the O2 sponsor. Premier League sleeve patches and the “Highbury 1913–2006” detailing complete one of the most iconic farewell shirts in English football history.
On the back, Pires is printed above the number 7 in original style Premier League printing, representing the French midfielder during his final season with Arsenal. Known for his elegance, technical ability and crucial goals, Robert Pirès played a major role in Arsenal’s success during the early Wenger era.
