NIKE SHIRTS

Nike came late to football, then bought its way to the top of it inside a decade. This is the largest brand collection we hold, running from Arsenal in Total 90 to Barcelona in Messi's breakout years, all originals from their own season.

A latecomer that reshaped the kit business

Nike had no real football pedigree before the 1990s: the swoosh belonged to running tracks and basketball courts. That changed fast. Brazil signed in 1996, Manchester United and Arsenal followed by the end of the decade, and by the early 2000s Nike was outspending its rivals on marquee kit deals across Europe and South America. What we hold reflects that expansion: Manchester United shirts under Van Nistelrooy and Ronaldo, Arsenal jerseys through the Henry and Bergkamp years, PSG in Ronaldinho's spell, and Brazil across two Ronaldo eras.

The Total 90 template, and what came after

The early 2000s Nike jersey is easy to place once you know it: heavier mesh, a diamond-stitch collar, and the Total 90 name stitched into the hem on several kits from that period. By the mid-2000s the cut got slimmer and the graphics moved to sublimated print rather than applied panels, visible on shirts like Barcelona's 2004-05 home worn by a young Messi or Arsenal's 2005-06 Henry jersey. Into the 2010s the template flattens again, with knit fabric replacing woven mesh entirely.

Player issue, and why one Del Piero shirt stands apart

Most of what Nike sold at retail was replica: a looser cut, a printed badge, no name and number stitched by hand. The Juventus 2006-07 Del Piero jersey in this collection is player issue, cut to match the squad's own fit rather than sold off a shop rail. It sits next to replica pieces from the same period, useful for seeing the difference side by side instead of taking a seller's word for it.

National teams under the swoosh

Nike's national team roster shows in the stock too: Brazil across the Ronaldo years, the Netherlands through Robben and Van Nistelrooy, Portugal in Ronaldo's early caps, Turkey's Hakan Sükür-era home shirt and Italy's late-90s away kit worn by Maldini. Each is dated to its season on the label and photographed as it actually is, not as a stock image.

Good to know

Player issue shirts are cut to match the squad's own fit with a stitched name and number, while replica shirts are cut looser for retail sale and usually carry a printed badge.
Which clubs and countries are in this Nike collection?
Manchester United, Arsenal, Barcelona, PSG and Inter Milan among the clubs, alongside Brazil, the Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and Italy at national level, spanning the late 1990s to the 2010s.

Every shirt is an original from its own season, hand-checked before listing, never a reprint or a modern retro reissue.

Shipping is free within the Netherlands and Belgium from 100 euros, and worldwide from 150 euros. Everything ships with track and trace.
