The Chelsea 2011–12 Home Shirt, produced by adidas, features the club’s classic royal blue design with subtle textured striping across the fabric. White adidas three stripes run along the shoulders, while the Samsung sponsor sits prominently across the chest. The Chelsea crest is positioned over the heart, completing the clean and traditional look of this iconic kit. This is the Player Issue version of the shirt, designed specifically for match use with a tighter athletic fit and lightweight performance materials. The shirt also features UEFA Champions League patches on the sleeves, reflecting its use during Chelsea’s historic European campaign. The shirt is printed with Drogba number 11 on the back. Didier Drogba was the defining player of Chelsea’s 2011–12 season and delivered one of the most memorable performances in the club’s history. In the Champions League final in Munich, Drogba scored the dramatic equaliser against Bayern Munich before converting the decisive penalty in the shootout to secure Chelsea’s first European Cup.
